Our Mission;

To rescue, rehabilitate, and release native wildlife and to provide sanctuary, individualized care, and aid to help them live long, healthy lives.

At Cawing Crow Rehab, we accept and care for orphaned, injured, sickly and displaced wildlife and return the majority to the wild. We rescue and cares for all wildlife, including both native and nonnative species. All wildlife, wether common, invasive, or rare is equally deserving of our care and respect.

We provide veterinary care, housing, neonate care and wildlife rehabilitation and release services.

We prioritize rehabilitation and do not euthanize unless the animal is suffering and all other possible options have been exhausted. We will absolutely never turn away an animal in need unless it is beyond the scope of our care, and if it is, we will find someone qualified to care for them. 

Wildlife care is exponentially expensive. One container of puppy food replacement, which is the go to formula for most abandoned animals, costs $44 for a single container. A full litter of raccoons will go through this in a week. Medication is needed for almost every single case, every cat attack requires antibiotics. Every bottle of ciprofloxacin, my preferred antibiotic is $22. 

Wildlife rehabilitators receive NO state funding, and as a result of this our funding comes completely out of pocket and from donations.
