Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un! Naseer Alwakeel, 16, 2nd of 5 beautiful children passed the night of October 27, 2017. Naseer leaves behind his mother, father and siblings ages 24, 12, 10 and 8.
MashaAllah Naseer was a kind, loving, bright young man. He was a great example in his short life of what every parent wants in a child and how we should all be. After Naseer’s passing I thought of his life and all the great moments and accomplishments passed by; Alhamdulillah. I then though well there may have been some things I need to ask for forgiveness/mercy for him for; and Alhamdulillah I couldn't think of one, seriously not one. While none of us are perfect and we all have things for which we need forgiveness and mercy it truly warmed my heart to know that I couldn’t think of any for this young man. I have known this young man for 16 years and even now at this most tumultuous time, when children are finding their way and stepping into adulthood, and sometimes are not their best selves, he was exemplar. We ask Allah SWT to have mercy and forgive him for any indiscretions. We ask Allah SWT for mercy upon our beloved Naseer, his family and the community.
Naseer was a student of Dar-un-Nur, Lilburn Middle School and attended Meadowcreek High School, in Norcross GA where he was a Junior. He was part of the Track, Cross-country and Lacrosse teams. Naseer worked at Chick-fil-A and had interests in Engineering. Just this past summer Naseer was afforded the opportunity to intern at Cisco.
In their time of grief, we ask for your duas and for your assistance in providing financial support to his family.

Your relationship to the parties you're raising funds for:
I am Naseer's aunt, the wife of the Naseer's, father's eldest brother.
How the funds will be used (be specific as possible): I was very specific that funds will be used for family expenses. What those are exactly I am not sure. Some funds will be used to pay for funeral expenses. I imagine Naseer's parents will use the funds to pay for expenses that are related to getting themselves and children ready to bury their son, expenses related to bring family in town, to help offset house hold expenses during this time when grieving families tend to have reduced income, and whatever other expense/use they see fit.
If you intend to withdraw the money, how you plan to send the funds to the parties you're raising money for or use the money on their behalf:
Funds will be withdrawn on a weekly basis and funeral expenses will be paid. All remaining funds will be sent via check to the parents of Naseer Alwakeel.
