Anne Musyoki Memorial Fund

Anne Musyoki, TechSoup’s Regional Lead for Africa, tragically lost her life in the crash of the Ethiopian Airlines flight from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia to Nairobi.   Anne was a tireless advocate for civil society and the nonprofits that indefatigably pursue the good promised within their missions with a special dedication to disadvantaged communities around the globe. Immensely proud of her country and continent, Anne believed in the potential for strengthening civil society through technology and capacity building across Africa, including her beloved Kenya. 

Anne will always be remembered for the beautiful person she was and for her commitment to global civil society. She combined an easy going manner and an inner strength that kept her driving and fighting for greater impact and more good. TechSoup will continue to follow her leadership and example in our continued and relentless pursuit of a more equitable planet.

Our hearts go out to her husband and children and all those she touched who must learn to deal with the loss of someone so special, a force of nature, under such tragic circumstances. This GoFundMe campaign site was created to provide some small semblance of peace, in the form of financial relief, to her husband, Simon, and their 3 beautiful children as they grieve the loss of their beloved wife and mother.
