don Howard is one of those rare examples of selfless service and devotion to being a living model of integrity with humanity and the Earth. He has touch the lives of people from all over the world, connected cultures together, and strengthened community both on the ground and in our hearts. To have the opportunity to reciprocate his life of service through this fund is a great honor.
As many of you already know, our beloved don Howard made his transition to the Spirit World on Oct 13th, not long after this more recent campaign was initiated. In accordance with his wishes, after any remaining medical expenses are paid, the remaining funds will be donated to don Howard's family (his wife Reyna, his sons Luis, Howard Jr., and his daughter Selva) to help them with their transition in Peru.
We are deeply grateful for everyone's support, and for the matching funds that helped jumpstart this new campaign. Many of you are familiar with don Howard's sister Sanchi Reta, who has, for many years, managed the incoming funds for the SpiritQuest retreats. As a trustworthy financial manager, and in order to ensure the funds will be distributed to don Howard's family in Peru, she has been named the beneficiary and will be receiving the funds into a joint account that she shares with don Howard, and will pass the funds on to the family.
For those that would still like to give a donation to honor don Howard, we are certain that in Spirit he will feel your love and generosity just as much through gifts given to support his family.
