Help our family recover from car fire

I am raising money to help us afford the security deposit and firsts months rent for a new home. We have jobs and are able to afford the rent. It would really help to have the security deposit covered. We've been living at a Motel 6 for the last 3 months and it's not where we want to have our kids for Christmas.

We moved out of my home town to take care of my father in law after the last heart attack he had. We expected that it wouldn't be that difficult to find a new home to rent when we arrived. Unfortunately we have an eviction from 2017 which is making it nearly impossible to find a new home for rent. 

We have finally found someone who is willing to rent a home to us and now we just need help putting together the money for the security deposit. 

After speaking to a few of my friends we came to the conclusion that it would be a good idea to start a Go Fund Me page.
