The Luke Brown Meningitis Foundation

As alot of people will know, our greatly loved Luke Brown sadly lost his life due to meningitis in October 2019. Luke went on to save three lives via organ donation and was awarded the Order of St. John in recognition of this. We have been in every major newspaper and also on the BBC News North West with our story. We have set up The Luke Brown Meningitis Foundation in memory of our friend with the aims of owning a holiday home for people who have been affected in anyway due to this awful illness. It will be completely free to use and will be adapted so anyone who has lost limbs to meningitis can use it with ease. We hope it will provide much needed space for people to reflect . Another aim is to provide infomation talks in the community and schools and colleges to raise awareness of the signs and symptoms. Our fundraising achievements include marathons, half marathons and mountain climbs..one even ran 5 marathons in 5 days !! Any help is greatly appreciated and will go along way in helping us to keep Luke‘s name going.
