Dan Brois Memorial & Family Fund
I’m reaching out today to ask for your help. Our friend, Dan Brois, is very ill and hospitalized.
After spending much of his youth in Westfield, first a Coolidge Street and Washington School kid, then a Roosevelt kid and, then living abroad for a time, Dan’s family returned to Westfield where Dan graduated from WHS in 1982. Dan went on to pursue and achieve advanced degrees in biology, molecular genetics and business. Much of his adult life has been devoted to the pursuit of knowledge and education. Despite the rigorous demands of his educational and professional career, Dan has remained a loyal and loving friend, particularly to those that hold a special place in his heart. Reading messages shared by old friends are a testament to the lives he’s touched over the years. He is married to Laura (née Macey) and has a five year old son, Daniel James. Throughout his life he has been devoted to family and God.
Sadly, Dan has become extremely ill in recent weeks and is presently hospitalized, fighting for his life. As you can imagine there are, and will be, medical and other financial challenges ahead for his young family. As Dan’s long-time friend, I’m asking that if you’re able to help with a monetary gift, please do. The impact of this devastating crisis has, and will continue to have, a tremendous impact on his family life.
I am also asking that you send prayers up for Dan and his family.
Please share this message in hopes we may reach as many friends, classmates, church and community members as possible. Expenses will far exceed the goal amount I chose; it’s a number chosen in honor of his birthday.
