Menstrual Equity During the COVID-19 Pandemic

Help provide menstrual products to students across Philly!
Since COVID-19 led to Philadelphia school closures in March, some students, who previously received their menstrual products from school nurses or whose parent has recently lost a job, are struggling to access the products they need. Since May 14, Planned Parenthood’s High School Action Group has partnered with the Student Health Services Department to provide over 3,000 menstrual kits, composing of pads and tampons, to Philadelphia students at multiple grab-and-go meal sites. The PP High School Action Group will continue distributing menstrual kits each Thursday, from 9 am to 12 pm, at numerous schools across Philly throughout the summer but we need your help! The more support we receive, the more we can help those struggling to access menstrual products by increasing our number of products and distribution sites. All funds will be used to purchase menstrual products.
If you are interested in volunteering on any Thursday or have any further questions, please feel free to contact me.
Thank you so much for your support.
