CARE DRIVE - Hygiene for Homeless Fundraiser

Project Outreach GTA is a volunteer group whose main initiative, during these uncertain times, is to provide relief to the homeless community. We distribute hygiene and personal care items directly to people living on the streets. We also provide these to local shelters and outreach centres including; Church of The Holy Trinity, Street Health Toronto, Sistering, The 519, Sherbourne Health and Good Shepherd Ministries.

In the past 6 weeks we have been able to collect and distribute; more than 600 pairs of socks, almost 2,000 pads/ tampons, as well as toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss, soap, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, tissue, wet wipes and more.

Unfortunately the need remains urgent and ongoing. For the health and safety of vulnerable individuals as well as the community, it is essential all citizens have access to good hygiene.
