Portobelo… La selva, los ríos y el mar, el clima, la historia han conformado un Portobelo biodiverso y rico en manifestaciones culturales.
Toda esta riqueza no evita que la comunidad presente todavía grandes deficiencias nutricionales, educativas y de salud.
Actualmente estas deficiencias se han visto multiplicadas por la pandemia del COVID-19.
Fundación Bahía de Portobelo, comprometida en mejorar la calidad de vida de la comunidad con programas que buscan el progreso a través de la cultura, necesita de vuestro apoyo para poner en marcha distintas líneas de acción:
- Alimentos y Suministros Médicos:
Recaudar fondos para dar respuesta urgente a las necesidades inmediatas médicas y alimentarias para garantizar que por lo menos 1 vez al día, más de 500 niñas/os acedan a una comida nutritiva y completa.
- Cobertura Educativa:
Montar infraestructura de Wifi gratuito para facilitar la conectividad e impulsar programas de educación digital, el 95% de los jóvenes no tiene acceso a Internet y se encuentra en desventaja para continuar con éxito sus estudios.
- Economía Creativa:
Generar un fondo para artistas y artesanos con el objetivo de impulsar la economía creativa en tiempos de crisis.
Actualmente estamos apoyando a nivel alimenticio a más de 200 personas y hemos entregado en la clínica médica, guantes, mascarillas, alcohol, cloro, detergente… Pero nuestros recursos son limitados y es fundamental tu apoyo.
Como puedes ayudar:
- Apoya y comparte una parte de tu presupuesto y serás un “anfitrión en la mesa” para familias que actualmente no tienen ningún recurso.
- Ayúdanos a garantizar que los héroes de la actualidad, médicos, enfermeros y su equipo tenga las condiciones necesarias para responder a las necesidades de Portobelo y Costa Arriba.

Garantizamos una campaña transparente compartiendo las facturas de las compras efectuadas con todos los fondos recaudados y públicamente en nuestras páginas de Instagram y Facebook. Compartiremos semanalmente: fotografías, detalles de entrega de insumos, informe de compra/gastos e impacto del proceso de la campaña.

Portobelo... The jungle, the rivers and the sea, the climate and the history, they all have shaped Portobelo’s biodiversity and the richness of its cultural manifestations.
Unfortunately, all this wealth does not prevent the community from suffering from great nutritional, educational and health scarcities.
Currently, these scarcities have been multiplied by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Bahía de Portobelo Foundation is committed to improving the quality of life of the community with programs that seek progress through culture. Now, it needs your support with implementing different actions:
- Food and Medical Supplies:
To raise funds to urgently respond to immediate medical and food needs. To ensure that more than 500 children have access to a nutritious and complete meal at least once a day.
- Educational Coverage:
To ensure a free Wi-Fi infrastructure to promote Digital Education programs. 95% of youths have no internet access and cannot continue their studies.
- Creative Economy:
Generate a fund for Artists and Artisans with the aim of supporting the Creative Economy in times of crisis.
We are currently supporting more than 200 people on a nutritional level. We have delivered gloves, masks, alcohol, chlorine, and detergent to the medical clinic ... But our resources are limited and your support is essential.
How you can help:
- Support and share a part of your budget and you will be a "host at the table" for families that currently have no resources.
- Help us to ensure that today's heroes, doctors, nurses and their teams have the necessary conditions to respond to the needs of the Portobelo and Costa Arriba areas.
- Share our #portobelosolidario campaign
We guarantee a transparent campaign by sharing the invoices of the purchases made with all the funds raised publicly on our Instagram and Facebook pages. We will share weekly: photographs, details of delivery of supplies, purchase / expense reports and impacts of the campaign throughout the process.
