Remembering Ricky Taylor-Support for his Family

Ricky Taylor was a good man. He went to work 6 days a week, every week, for nearly four decades at the same company. Tragically, he contracted COVID19. In early May, Ricky was rushed to the hospital and his condition quickly deteriorated. On May 9th, Ricky was placed into a medically induced coma and onto mechanical ventilation. For the next two weeks, Ricky fought bravely in the hospital alone. In the very early hours of May 24th, Ricky succumbed to the virus that forced him into isolation for the final four weeks of his life.

The family has lost such a beloved man - a husband, a father of four, a grandfather, a son, a brother, an uncle, and an incredible friend to so many. Ricky Taylor was humble and simple, he was cheerful and generous. He was a selfless man with a big heart for all people and animals alike. He was dedicated to his family, dedicated to his dogs, and dedicated to his work. As a front line essential employee, Ricky worked tirelessly over the last several months of his life to ensure that shelves were stocked so those in his community could survive during the pandemic.
