Transition funds

Hi, my name is Lala Thomas, a 24-year-old trans woman of color living in the City Of Chicago. I work two part-time jobs as a cashier and a seasonal part-time high school volleyball coach. When I am not working my part-time jobs, I am exploring my artistic side as not only an entertainer (model, actress, etc.) but also as an organizer of up-and-coming artists in my community. I am asking for your support for my transition gender confirming procedures. I cannot afford the expenses on my own. Although I have raised half the funds necessary, my deliberate choice to serve my community and young people leaves me with less income than most.
