Medical expenses for Mike Jacoby

On Monday June 1st Mike was involved in a horrific car accident in Northeast Philadelphia that has left him in the hospital fighting for his life.  Many of you already know and love Mike and can understand the heartbreak this is causing his family and friends.  Mike is one of the nicest guys you would ever want to meet.  His ability to make connections with people the instant he meets them is what sets him apart from other kids his age.  There is just something about him that always brings a smile to your face.  Whether he is telling a funny story, offering football advice, or having a serious conversation about his plans for college, he has a sincerity about him that never goes unnoticed. He is a loyal friend who would do just about anything for anyone. His friends describe him as  the most selfless person you could ever meet, just an all around great guy.  Mike is a 2020 graduate of Northeast High School and had already committed to attend Millersville University in the fall on a football scholarship.   
The extent of Mike's injuries  are uncertain, but what is certain is the lengthy recovery process that will be required to get Mike back on his feet.  His recovery will most likely involve months of specialized care followed by physical therapy and rehabilitation.
