Relief Fund for Black and Brown Owned Businesses

My name is Tizzy Haroun, an Oakland native with a social justice and art activism background.
In response to the murders of countless unarmed black people in the hands of racist police pigs, the people of Oakland have made very clear statements through peaceful and non-peaceful demonstrations regarding our sentiments on police brutality and the realities of being Black in Amerikkka. However, it has come to my attention paid instigators, racist white rioters and plain-clothed police pigs have been vandalizing and looting countless black and brown owned family businesses who have supported the people of Oakland for years. We have learned from past historical demonstrations, such as the 1992 LA Riots, that most black-owned and brown-owned businesses do not survive after being burned down and/or looted. We must come together as a community to make sure black and brown businesses continue to thrive in a city heavily targeted by gentrification.
ALL funds accumulated through your donations will be completely allocated as relief funds for black and brown owned businesses destroyed, looted and/or vandalized during our demonstrations. These funds will DIRECTLY help serve those SPECIFICALLY in the city of Oakland. Black-owned businesses will be prioritized. My goal is to provide ten heavily affected black/brown owned businesses in OAKLAND with $25k each or to redistribute funds EQUITABLY depending on damages made to these businesses.
