Walking for Chester Zoo
Donation protected
Animals are important in nearly everyones life, as they are in mine, my wife's and my little Girls... Seeing Chester Zoo struggle through this difficult time with all the great things they do for Animals, I cant stand by and watch them go into debt and struggle to look after the Animals without funds.
With that said I'm trying to now raise as much as I can to help them continue the great work they do, please donate as much or as little as you can, anything can help.
On the 18th July 2020 starting at 7am I will be walking from my home in Burnley to Chester Zoo roughly 57 miles, I will be stopping halfway and then continuing the remaining distance on the 25th July, the Journey should take around 21 hours (probably longer when I'm actually doing it) in total, I'm doing this over 2 days and a week apart to make sure I dont stress any of the back or knee injuries I currently have.
For those who know me will know that this wont be an easy task for myself weighing 18 stone and not being in great shape and having recently given up Grassroots Football on Sunday mornings through continuous Injuries, but hopefully we can raise funds to help this amazing company who have brought us happiness throughout all of our lives and who care for so many defenseless Animals.
I will be uploading to my Facebook showing my progress on the day (My Facebook page is below) please also see below the link to Chester Zoo's story of why they require donations.
