My name is Gavin (Richard because fundraisers and form auto completion) Alexander and I'm a Black LGBT student at SOAS university in London. Over the past year I've run a series of panel discussions focusing on the experience of Black Queer people in our day to day lives.
It's been difficult relying on support solely from my Students Union (which is already tiny and underfunded) in order to host the events that I would like to. As a result I'm asking for your support so that I can expand Black & Queer and do more of the following:
Panel Discussions
Social Events such as Meet Ups for Black Queer people
Networking Events
Supporting Black Queer people with Medical Costs such as surgeries and therapy
