My name is Davia Withers and I am starting this campaign to raise money for medical and disability related expenses for myself and my mother.
I have spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy and my mother Dena Withers has multiple sclerosis. I am unable to walk or use my arms and hands well and use a power wheelchair. My mother is only able to walk a few steps and has severe pain and weakness.
We need your help to purchase home accessibility improvements (ramps and grab bars), and new wheelchairs for both of us, extensive dental care, and medicine and therapy for both of us.
I know this is a strange and difficult time for all of us right now, but I'd like you to think about something. Have you had a hard time being stuck at home during the coronavirus quarantine? Well, it's been like that for my mother and I for almost 4 years. Since 2017 we have only left our house to go to the hospital by ambulance. Your support could change all that and free us back out into the world again.
