Deeside Gymnastics Academy Appeal

This is a plea from the parents of some children that attend this fantastic gymnastics club in an attempt to help the coaches to save the club in any way we can.

Deeside Gymnastics Academy is a not for profit making organisation that provides safe, professional and fun activities for hundreds of local children. The club has been running for 45 years and does so much for local children. They finally found a forever home after 42 years and have spent the last 3 years at Deeside Leisure Centre working hard and equipping it with brilliant facilities. Then this pandemic happened and without hesitation the club handed over their facilities to be used as a Covid hospital.

Aura and Flintshire County Council have confirmed that the club will not be able to return to our old gymnasium until after January 2021, therefore the club must make alternative arrangements in the short term.
Now more than ever, we need help to raise funds to allow us to pay a deposit and secure items required for another premises. This is required urgently to allow the gym club to survive and train when restrictions are lifted. The club are doing everything they can to prepare to a return to training, however without essential funding there will be no premises to use and this important part of the Flintshire community will struggle to survive.
