ASD feed the kids summer program

Alamosa School District (ASD) has been providing  over 40,000 meals on average monthly since spring break. We created 2 routes consisting of 15 stops in the most vulnerable neighborhoods.  ASD decided to continue serving the students throughout the summer months, with the support of grants and the help from the community.  During this pandemic our community needs this program now more than ever. Feeding kids a nutritious breakfast & lunch 7 days a week is such a basic necessity.  Without this program, hundreds of families would be left to fend for themselves, attempting to figure out where their next meal will come from... The donations will be sent directly to ASD.  All donations will help offset the cost of food, transportation (2 routes) and the employee’s wages.  Without a budget for this operation we’ve needed help since late March.
