Stand Up with What’s For Lunch

Donation protected
We are a literal mom and pop business that has been catering to the Austin community for 11 years. We specialize in corporate catering and provide breakfasts and lunches to businesses all over the greater Austin area. One of the downsides of the COVID pandemic is that there is very little need for catering to large groups as many companies have employees working from home.
We have been blessed by support from our community during the pandemic, and we have not had to close down a single day, nor let go of any of our staff. Our loyal friends and customers have provided us with what business they can, we received some relief from the Paycheck Protection Plan, and we have been so grateful to keep our doors open.
While we are so grateful, the cold hard facts are that we cannot go on forever with so little coming in. We are getting to the point of no longer being able to stay open, and our business of 11 years in is danger of closing its doors. Starting with the cancellation of our SXSW events, which deprived us of an entire quarter's worth of earnings, and through the more than 3 months of sales at 20% of the norm, we are running out of the funds it takes to keep the rent, utilities, payroll, taxes, health insurance, etc. paid.
We are concerned that although some people are starting to get back to work, until the schools re-open, people will not go back to work at the scale needed to get us back up and running at full capacity. We anticipate a sluggish summer and worry that we won't survive it.
A small business in the truest sense, our business sustains 7 households, and if we go under, none us will likely find work quickly with historic unemployment gripping our nation, and in this industry in particular.
As business owners, we are used to making our own way, but in these unprecedented circumstances, we are asking for the broader community to help lift us up. Any help you can provide will ensure:
1. All of our current employees will continue working.
2. 7 households will continue to have an income.
3. Our vendors, many of whom are also small businesses, will be paid.
4. Collected funds will be used responsibly for payroll, rent, utilities, vendor payments, and health insurance.

We want to do everything we can to provide our staff and our family with an income. We want to survive the summer and be left standing when people get back to work in the fall.  Please stand with our small business!
