Pride in the Islands

Pride in the Islands is an initiative led by Shuzzr that seeks to support PRIDE activities across The Caribbean. The initiative which will not just support advocacy groups based in The Caribbean seeking to undertake PRIDE activities but recognize and support talented individuals who fall within minority groups pursuing, fostering and effecting change in the Caribbean.

After years of working in an homophobic music industry, Shuzzr was honored by Billboard Magazine by being included in their 2020 PRIDE PROM/Summit. A year after being invited to the Billboard inaugural PRIDE Summit, Shuzzr continues to break barriers and shatter glass ceilings. Read his story here - Shuzzr Billboard Interview 

With your donations, we will be able to  execute this endeavor and bring awareness and foster inclusivity.  Upon reaching our financial goals, we will establish a team who will aid in executing the project and ensure we live up to our responsibilities & ethical guidelines.
