Our mission is to serve Cherokee and the surrounding counties to meet the needs and expectations of our community by providing the highest quality arts, cultural programs and events.
For the past twenty plus years the Cherokee County Arts Center in Canton, Georgia has been an integral contributor to the excellent culture and quality of life we enjoy as residents of Cherokee County and North Georgia.
The diverse offering of classes, theater productions, state-of-the-art gallery,
children's programming, and community clubs and events provide not only the advancement of the arts and educational opportunities for all residents, but also the essential cultural component necessary for any complete and successful community.
With the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus, like many other non-profit organizations, the Cherokee County Arts Center has experienced unexpected and difficult financial challenges. The Center has remained closed since mid-March of this year, resulting in the cancellation of classes, programs, exhibits and the annual Canton Festival of the Arts (The Center's largest annual fundraiser).
Now, the CCAC is asking the community it has served and enhanced for so long to consider helping to keep the Center alive and thriving by making a donation to our GoFundMe account. Your donations will maintain our historic building, assure the continued presence of our dedicated staff, and continue our vital role as we grow and prosper with our community. All donations, large and small, will make a difference. Simply becoming a member of the Cherokee Arts Center has a definite positive impact as well.
