Save Artillery AG ( Phase 2 )

Donation protected
Thank you friends and familia for all your support during this time. We understand that the community is hurting now more than ever with COVID, fighting for justice with the Black Lives Matter Movement and now we are at risk of being evicted from our beloved home & means to feeding our families of Artillery AG.

We have been in our beautiful Mission District for  11 years and for the past 2 years we have been working to reclaim our space + autonomy. This has been an emotional and rough process. We were advised to wait on sharing our community statement with everything that has happened. We will release it when we can. Your support and outreach has given us strength to continue to fight for Artillery AG.

For now, this is how you can support our ARTILLERY AG familia and community to avoid eviction! Thank you for supporting Ivan Lopez Familia + Alexa Treviño's Familia.

This is a bit complicated since there are many layers to what we are dealing with and want to be as transparent as possible. Our goal is to raise minimum $15k - $55k.  There is a timeline for each phase on funds and where they will be allocated. The first $15k is going directly to our landlord, we will have to pay up the months of SIP due to COVID and also July's rent to get the lease signed 100% to us. We will be updating with phases and raising the fund to the 55k here and on our social media. With our whole hearts we thank you for your support.

First Phase:
RECLAIMING

Our first goal is our immediate need. We are reclaiming our space, autonomy and surviving past this fight.

- Rent + Utilities - $15,000
- $4,000 is needed by the end of the day tomorrow to get Matthew Mauger off our rental lease. (June 17th, 2020)
- The additional $11,000 is needed to not lose lease before the end of the month.
- This will help us pay rent to stay at 2751 Mission beyond July 2020.
- Breakdown of back pay rent due to Shelter in Place.
- The lucha is not over. We did not just get hit with this fight, but we have to survive past COVID as a community art space.

In the next 3 months we will be faced with :
- Equipment to payout Matthew Mauger Corporation-  TBD to regain autonomy + build back our business. Note: We financed and put sweat equity into getting this equipment. The current estimate is inflation.
- Estimated Legal Fees to reclaim our space in writing- TBD
- Estimated CDC Safety requirements for facilities and equipment-  TBD.  We are also open for direct donations of this equipment.

We will be releasing our second and third phase for support in the next couple of days. Our ultimate goal will be $55,000 to be able to thrive past this fight and past COVID.

Second Phase :
THRIVING

Our second goal is to support the BIPOC community in these hard times with the powerful art of ceramics.

- 15 one year ceramics scholarships for Black, Indigenous and People of Color - $40,000
- These scholarships will be for BIPOC artists who need the time to create art and may not have the financial means to enter the ceramics membership at this time.
- If they are beginners we will support their learning through socially distance hand-building lessons till COVID procedures allow us to start teaching classes in-person.
- Please contact us if you are BIPOC and would like to apply for this scholarship at [email redacted] . We will be working to have more information out soon.
- Please also share this fundraiser with your communities!

Third Phase:
 THRIVING WITH COMMUNITY

Our third goal is to support the BIPOC community through photography and food sovereignty. We will be releasing more soon.
