Los teatros hispanos de Miami pedimos ayuda para sobrevivir a la pandemia.
Somos ocho (8) salas de teatro que enfrentamos la señal de desaparecer al no poder sostener los espacios donde presentamos nuestros espectáculos, tuvimos que cerrar las puertas por la crisis ocasionada por el COVID 19.
Estos son lugares mágicos donde seguro viste tu primera obra de teatro, tu primer concierto o incluso donde te presentaste y aun recuerdas lo que sentiste, eso es el teatro: la vida misma llena de emociones, es el mejor escape a la rutina diaria.
Creamos HISTEPA (Hispanic Theaters and Producers Association) para unir esfuerzos, tenemos 1200 butacas disponibles para la representación de las artes escénicas, generamos 80 empleos directos, 300 indirectos y más de 50 compañías residentes tienen en estas salas su espacio para satisfacer a un público de habla hispana que según cifras del Censo representamos el 70% de la población del condado de Miami Dade.
Necesitamos tu ayuda. Con tu donación aquí en Gofundme, HISTEPA podrá administrar el dinero y distribuirlo entre los 8 magníficos teatros para que permanezca la estructura física mientras pasan estos días que no tienen precedentes.
En total estamos buscando un rescate financiero de US$ 2.7 millones de dólares. Con este dinero pagaremos el costo operativo por los meses que hemos estado y debemos permanecer cerrados e incluso, cuando abramos, para poder sostenernos a un mínimo de ocupación, calculamos esto será por los siguientes 6 meses.
Nuestras salas son:Teatro 8, Paseo Wynwood, Havanafama, Artefactus, Sala Catarsis, Adriana Barraza Acting Studio, Bellas Artes y Teatro Trail.

Miami theaters ask for help to survive the pandemic
Eight (8) theaters in Miami Dade which faces evident threats of disappearance by not being able to bear the spaces where their shows are presented. The doors were closed by the crisis caused by COVID 19.
A financial rescue of US $ 2.7 million is required to save them.
Most people remember their first concert, their first play and the way it made them feel. Theater is an escape from the daily life. We want more people to know that feeling, to escape their routine.
This bailout is calculated based on the number of seats that cannot be for sale. The operating cost per seat to cover the next six months.
We are HISTEPA - Hispanic Theaters and Producers Association. We represent 8 theaters in the greater Miami, FL. Area. In total we represent 1,200 seats for the presentation of performing arts in Spanish. These eight theaters employ 80 jobs directly and 300 jobs indirectly, and offer residency to more than 50 theater companies, to satisfy a Spanish-speaking audience.
