Help Artists, Help Support New Play "Gods Like Us"
IT TAKES A VILLAGE TO RAISE A STORY
THE PLAYERS: Alongside a stellar team of emerging Toronto theatre practitioners, Zazu Oke and Vince Deiulis are putting on an exciting New Play this April in Toronto.
THE QUESTIONS: Curious about the present, Zazu and Vince looked 100 years into the past. GODS LIKE US is the story of two men from vastly different backgrounds (a Canadian soldier, and a Nigerian farmer) who have a fateful meeting that forces them to question their preconceived notions about justice, morality and one another. Questions not unlike those that continue to concern people today.
THE POINT: This show aims to encourage the next generation to question how the decisions of the past continue to impact the present. This production will also give young-in-craft theatre practitioners an opportunity to hone their skills.

THE PLACE: The BMO Incubator - Theatre Centre (1115 Queen Street West, Toronto, Ontario). There are less than 70 seats per show, so get your tickets as soon as possible.
THE PERKS: Vince and Zazu have teamed up with Toronto-based charitable organization "Kids Up Front Toronto " to offer tickets to youth in Toronto. If you cannot attend the performance, but would like to send someone in your place, Kids Up Front and the production team can make that happen! Simply make a donation (of $25 or more) and comment using the hashtag #SendAFriend and the team will make sure your tickets help inspire youth in Toronto.
