Sierra’s Chemotherapy

 My girlfriend and I just spent $8000 on our credit cards and maxed out to save our pugs life she has a go fund me account up for Grr at the moment he is an 11-year-old pug and is much better after surgery.   A semi truck had veered in front of my girlfriends car and cut her off the road and she slammed the brakes to stay safe the poor dog hit the dashboard and immediately following could not walk or raise his head. The surgery has been a great saving grace for our little pug but one week after surgery our husky malamute would not eat food and we thought it was because the pug was injured. After taking her in for multiple tests it is confirmed that she has been tested positive for lymphoma cancer.   My poor girl Sierra is only 7 1/2 years old and has had an amazing life going to the mountains hiking in the woods roaming in the 2 acre yard and holding our families together strong.  As of 2-28-20 I received the dreaded phone call on labs sent in from her lymph node in her chest and the worst news hit me. I just cried and cried for this dog has given me More love than most relationships would. Unconditional and boundless. I would give the world to make her feel good again. Monday morning we will be going into the vet referral er clinic to discuss chemo or euthanasia and I’m not ready to let her go. If Dr. Vaughn suggest chemo it is a route I would be willing to take.  If she was 10 plus years old I would consider euthanasia but she is so young and it is all the more painful. On Monday we will try to do a $400 ultrasound to check on her organs but chemo could start as soon as this week coming. The dr will give us a quote Monday morning on a plan of action or to euthanize if she cannot be helped. So far the dr verbally quoted $4000 for the six month treatment plan.  I don’t ask for help, we keep to ourselves and don’t do social media so we can just enjoy our lives in peace. Without Facebook and Instagram it’s hard to reach out for help so we made it here to this platform.

If anyone knows or understands where we are as a family, distraught and broken hearted, please consider in any fashion being there for us and our best friends. I truly appreciate you taking the time to read this and if you want to be a helping hand then we could never thank you enough for giving me the best memories and times in our lives. This is my first personal dog and it has been the best 7.5 years going to the mountains and hiking, camping swimming etc. this girl will sit in the yard with the gate open and never leave her home cause she loves it here.
