Support the Performers of Cirque MonteCarlo

Just as everyone else is feeling the affects  of the Coronavirus, Cirque MonteCarlo has also been hit extremely hard as well. We closed our doors(or should I say side walls) on March 15th and have been sheltering in place with our circus family and waiting for social gathering restrictions to be lifted. We were not prepared for this pandemic to take such a toll on us or to last as long as it has, not only  has it hit us financially, but mentally as well. For a group of people whose livelihood depends on social interaction and being busy and moving almost 24 hours a day, social distancing has been a physical and mental shock! We have been supporting our cast and crew since day one with a safe place to stay, food, shelter and security, but this has put a financial strain on us. We are prepared  to support our performers and employees through this extremely difficult time until we can get back to work. We have made a commitment to these people and they have stayed loyal to us during this very trying period. With close to 50 people to support, our cost for food, electricity and a location to stay for all these people is close to $500 a day. Cirque MonteCarlo wants to do right by the people who depend on them and that is why we are doing everything in our power to keep them fed, housed and happy during this pandemic. We are now worried about having the funds to get back out on the road since we have been using our reserves to get us through this time.  We realize that many other families are in the same situation as we are and that is why we ask that if you do not have anything to donate please share our fundraiser.
