Want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money to benefit St. Anne's Episcopal Church's pet food pantry--called Fuzzy Friends--during the coronavirus crisis. All donations will go to purchasing pet food to give to veterans, persons with no or low incomes and retired persons 70 years old and older. Please help us end animal hunger by donating money or pet food.
History: Fuzzy Friends Pet Food Pantry is a ministry of St. Anne's Episcopal Church. We give free pet food to persons with low incomes, veterans, and retired people 70 years old and older who cannot afford dog or cat food. Since 2008, the Church had been helping raise money and pet food donations for local pet rescue programs. While John, our founder, was working at the Forsyth County Animal Shelter, he learned that people with low incomes typically surrender their animals when they cannot afford to feed them. Unfortunately, many surrendered pets end up being euthanized. In 2017 the Fuzzy Friends Pet Food Pantry was started as a new ministry. The idea was to help prevent people from having to surrender their pets because they could not afford to feed them. Since then, Fuzzy Friends Pet Food Pantry has helped feed thousands of pets. It is one of the largest pet food pantries in NC. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this ministry of St. Anne's Episcopal Church.
