Free Headbands for Nurses and HCA

We started making headbands to help my sister who is a nurse and her colleagues at Ellesmere Port Hospital. We were overwhelmed with stories and requests so decided to go nationwide ensuring healthcare workers don’t pay to ease the pain from masks. Unfortunately since then my sister Gemma caught COVID-19 in April and has had complications from it since which has stopped her returning back to her ward
Nurses, doctors, paramedics, carers and other frontline NHS staff battling to save lives from COVID-19 are wearing masks for their entire shift that are cutting into their ears causing sores.
The headbands we are making they are able to reuse and are washable with their uniforms. And cost 25p to make
We are a community of 7 (#FreeHeadbands), who have come together with a simple goal of protecting and supporting our NHS at its greatest time of need.
£10 will pay for a minimum of 40 headbands, £100 for 400 and £500 will make 2000
Should we fulfil all of the countries NHS headband requests we will use funds raised for NHS Charities
