THE LINK & OPTION CENTER, INC. Seeks to Establish Senior Wellness Concierge Call Center
With the global outbreak of the COVID-19 virus, we are becoming more aware than ever the problems our seniors are facing in accessing critical supplies and services, while being able to protect themselves from potential outbreaks and position for care beyond. Isolation and depression is also at an all-time high as individuals are forced to self-isolate or quarantine themselves, cutting off some of our most vulnerable populations from their normal support structures and coping mechanisms.
THE LINK & OPTION CENTER, INC., which has been operating mental health services since 1995 in the Chicago south suburbs, is seeking to fill that gap by deploying a Senior Wellness Concierge Call Center for older adults with chronic medical conditions. This call center will provide a live voice there and ready to help, whether the individual needs a grocery run, medication delivery, mental health services, or just a friendly, sympathetic person to talk to for a few minutes.
Concierge overage includes care coordination for:
· Basic and Essential Needs
· Paying for Health Care
· Pharmacy Support for Medicines and Medical Supplies
· Insurance Coverage and Use
· Medical and Mental Care
· Treatment
· Disease Support Networks
· Health Education
· Legal
· End of Life/Palliative
THE LINK & OPTION CENTER, INC. has set up a GoFundMe campaign to raise funds to purchase equipment and hire staff to operate the call center.
