Covid19 -Food Access for Local Families

Want to join me in making a difference in times of Covid19?  The COVID-19 pandemic has hit families hard in the Northern Gateway community. However, in the face of these challenges (loss of income, salaries and wages, health insurance, etc.), there are many ways that we can support our community. 

On behalf of the Northern Gateway CDC, our team is raising money to provide food for families in Langley Park, Adelphi, Chillum and surrounding communities.  Local families in the Northern Gateway community are struggling with food insecurity due to the closures from COVID-19.   Funds raised will be used to purchase food and urgent essentials for families that live in Langley Park, Chillum, Adelphi, Avondale, Lewisdale, and Carole Highlands. 

Maryland's International Corridor Community Development Corporation (DBA Northern Gateway CDC) is a nonprofit based in the unincorporated communities of District 2 in Prince George's County. Our mission is to bring people together to build a strong community through placemaking and transformative economic development initiatives.

Any amount helps. All proceeds will go directly to families. Meals will be distributed to families in the community. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause in a critical and difficult time.
