Votrient - non refundable chemo

As you all know, Inez went through chemo and radiotherapy in 2018/2019 for her 4th stage Ewings Sarcoma of the leg. We have had happy and bright year after the treatment and gained the feeling of getting the normality back to our life again  

Unfortunately, at the last follow up in August 2020 the new changes in lungs had been discovered. 

Currently Inez is going through the third line of the treatment - we’re during second cycle of the chemo Cyclophosphamide and Topotecan. She is getting prepared for the thoracotomy and after that Inez is to receive oral chemotherapy- possibly at home, so she will not be forced to spend weeks at the hospital. 

The chemo drug is called Votrient and is not refundable by the government. The drugs cost is estimated €1500 per pack which should last for about two months (depending on the Inez’s weight). Doctors predicts it may take a year or two until she could be taken off the Votrient  if her condition will allow for this. 

We’re asking our friends for support in order to get the Votrient for Inez and would like to thank for help we’ve received so far.
