We have been developing an Eco-chic Resort Collection Balushka since 2017 and have been growing slowly but steadily getting more and more interest and attention as our brand is one of a kind (please read the description below).
This year we've even started to work with a Milanese showroom obtaining international visibility, but the COVID pandemic affected our small business and other projects nourishing Balushka a lot.
We've cut or reduced all the possible costs and expenses but still as many related businesses (suppliers, distributors, clients) are suffering too we are having lack of funds for additional production, following collection development and supporting our team.

Balushka is an Eco-chic designer resort collection (est. 2018). The brand's core is the top-quality beach dresses and cover-ups produced of the finest northern linen and embellished with embroidery made by hand iof lovely "babushkas" in Russia. Balushka has an internatinal soul and reaching its customers worldwide. Following the important contemporary dilemma of being in fashion and being sustainable at the same time, Balushka does not support over-production, uses linen which is one of the few sustainable fabrics and besides, supports small factories that are still keeping traditional artisanal techniques. All clothes is exceptionally durable and made in a unique size, which helps boutiques to avoid having leftovers and to sell easily.
The brand's mission is to celebrate artisanal craftsmanship and to create trendy yet elegant outfits complementing different body-types, while being sustainable.
