GET NICOL TO QUITO

* We need money for Nicol to travel and for her accommodations to Quito Ecuador for her to see David Krupa at the R.O.M.P ( range of Motion project). Where they will be providing her with stubbies and full prosthetics and rehabilitation. *

Nicol lost both her legs due to a tragic accident, where she was pinned to the wall after a runaway car being chased by the police hit her while doing dance therapy outside in Pasaje, Ecuador.
I met Nicol while serving in Ecuador on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day saints. She was in the branch I was serving in and it broke my heart when we heard the tragic news.
Nicol's life changed in a matter of minutes. Everything she knew gone. She had both legs amputated and is now can't dance and she is an avid dancer. Nicol's example of strength and perseverance has been a light and strength in my life and I cant wait to see her walk her first steps!
It has been 2 years now since her accident and A LOT HAS HAPPENED... WE JUST NEED YOUR HELP WITH THE LAST STEPs!

- My family and I began fundraising for Nicol January 2019.
-We had a fundraising an event and received SO much support from the community and raised $7,000 in June 2019
NOW....
We got a message from a company called Range of Motion Project(ROMP)in the United States. My mom contacted them a month before the fundraiser we had. They responded after the event saying that they would love to take Nicol as a personal case and that there CEO lives and works in ECUADOR!
They told us that the money we had raised was sufficient….
What would usually cost over $100,000 we were getting for the amount we have raised. They have the materials and even brand new bionic knees (usually 25,000 each) that were donated right before Nicol went to Quito Ecuador to meet the CEO, David Krupa, and get sized. They use donated prosthetics and also make there own. They have everything prepared for her to start her first phase on stubbies, then to full prosthetics. She hasn’t walked in 2 years and she was able to start her journey in March but due to COVID everything got pushed back due to interprovincial travel being shut down, she has not been able to get to him but it is open again and she will be starting her process!
All we need is your help to get us through this last step so that Nicol can take her first!!!
