Seniors, Veterans and Disabled Housing Project

Tax deductible
Want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money to benefit Seniors, Veterans, and Disabled families by providing affordable housing located at 258-28th Street in Oakland.  Owned by Christian Church Homes of Northern California (Christian Church Homes / CCH), and any donation will help make an impact to our project. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.

Strive Real Estate LLC, Managing Partner is a for-profit limited liability company owned collectively by members of Strive Wealth Builders, Inc.  Our mission is to acquire, preserve, and invest in real estate projects that contribute to the goals of affordable housing advocacy and community redevelopment.

This project is a part of a much larger need, to help end homelessness in the Bay Area and a part of the Housing Crisis Attack movement through 2021 which will provide more than 500 affordable housing units to low-income families.

All donor proceeds will help fund the renovation of 4 units and the new construction of two additional units.  The total project cost is $1,464,423. $300,000 in donations will assist with design, planning and permit fees.

More information about Christian Church Homes of Northern California (Christian Church Homes / CCH): The Christian Church Homes (CCH) mission is to increase the supply of affordable, quality housing for low-income, senior populations by (1) building and/or preserving affordable, quality senior housing developments where most needed; (2) creating and maintaining caring communities where seniors may live and thrive in the comfort of their own homes; and (3) providing professional property management that meets and/or exceeds industry standards.

Strive Real Estate LLC has partnered with Christian Church Homes and several other local affordable housing advocates to produce a safe, decent, and efficient housing project to benefit our senior and veteran population.  Please help us make this project successful by contributing to our fund.

A little bit  more about the project:

SRE proposes to renovate and remodel the existing structure, which includes; 4 units - (1) 2X1 (2) 1X1 (1) Studio. In addition, add two (2) ADU studio units to the rear of the structure under the City of Oakland ADU guidelines, rules, and regulations. A total of six (6) units.

By 2050, the population of individuals who are 65 and older in the United States is projected to double, growing faster than any other age group. According to LeadingAge, these risks are higher among members of minority groups, who are expected to make up 42 percent of the senior population in 2050. In the Bay Area, the average waitlist for affordable senior housing is 5 to 7 years.

As Veterans age, many VA programs do not meet the housing and care needs of older veterans. For veterans with permanent and total service-connected disabilities, affordable housing is an essential need and an ideal way to help restore mobility and independence to a senior who served his country.

This is only the beginning.  Let me share our goal for the Housing Crisis Attack movement. Strive Wealth Builders has volunteered to coordinate and implement a plan of action to produce 500 or more affordable housing units dedicated to low-income families in the Bay Area through 2021.

A decent and affordable place to live helps families by freeing them from physical and mental hardships and place them on a path of new opportunity, increased confidence, and self-reliance. At Strive, we believe everyone deserves affordable and decent housing regardless of income levels. We believe blended housing is the key to resolving the housing crisis and challenge our local developers to build and renovate 500 blended units during this movement.

Strive made a commitment to serve as the conduit between affordable housing advocate groups and real estate developers ensuring communication is forthcoming and projects are on track according to schedule. This includes reporting practices.
