As a board member of Camp Harkness and a mother of a child who is a passholder for our state park, I couldn't be more passionate about our park and the happiness it brings to our passholders and families! With that being said, we do need your help!! Summer 2020 is almost over and we’ve been challenged in ways we never imagined. It’s wonderful to share some good news for a change. This fall, we will break ground for Phase 1 of a new fully accessible sun shelter pavilion. This project has been on the campers wish list for many years. It will be used year-round as a much needed camp activity area, as an outdoor classroom and training space, and for special events and fundraisers. The Pavilion will benefit campers and passholders of all ages and abilities.
