Derek's memorial funds and Tristan's future

On Sunday, October 4th, 2020, we all lost our Derek. Son, brother, husband, uncle, cousin, friend and most proudly, father. He passed away in a tragic fire accident in the early morning as he tried to save his family's home. If you did not have the privilege of knowing him, then you missed out on his free spirit and loving heart. He had a great passion for adventure and living life to the fullest.  As I look back on all the memories I have with my cousin, I smile knowing he was either making me laugh, teaching me something, or embracing me in his hugs. I think many people could agree that they had the same relationship with him, showing that all were family in his eyes. His greatest joy in life was being a father to Tristan. I am asking that if you have the opportunity, please give to Derek's parents, Ronnie and Wanda to pay for memorial and funeral expenses. Anything additional will go into a college fund for Tristan. We want Derek to look down on his family and have comfort in the fact that they will not have a financial burden to uphold and that Tristan can pursue his future in honor of his father.
