Pumpkin Patch for People Helping People

We are the St. Mark’s Pumpkin Patch team, representing places of worship, as well as civic organizations and companies throughout the Burlington, Massachusetts area. For almost 10 years we have sold pumpkins grown on a Navajo reservation in New Mexico and shipped to us to sell at our pumpkin patch.
Our patch has been staffed by volunteers from local churches, civic organizations and companies from throughout the area. Many organizations with one goal: to come together throughout the month of October to sell pumpkins to benefit People Helping People (PHP), a non-profit support program consisting of the Burlington Community Food Pantry, the Burlington Covenant for Basic Needs and the Holiday Program. PHP recognizes that there is a need within the community and responds with food, emergency fuel assistance, medicine and most importantly understanding and support.

Unfortunately, this year, despite our best efforts we cannot have our pumpkin patch sale due to the current health situation. So, while we hope to reopen the pumpkin patch next year, our usual pumpkin patch sale cannot happen this year. The need for assistance has never been greater though, with PHP providing aid to more than 160 families throughout the town.
While we cannot sell pumpkins, we are determined to continue to provide help for these organizations. We are taking this opportunity to ask for your support financially to help PHP fulfill their goals through our virtual Pumpkin Patch.
Our goal is to provide $10,000 for People Helping People, and we are asking for your help to allow them to continue to provide this valuable service to the community. Any amount would be greatly appreciated.
