RaenaBelle's Car Fund For Mommy Audra

Hi, my name is Audra High (mommy A). I’m disabled and have 2 wonderful service cats, Deztinee and RaenaBelle, who help me to continue living an independent lifestyle. They provide emotional support as well as many physical tasks needed due to my disabilities. We live in rural Southern Oklahoma where there is no public transportation. I have no family to help me, and most of my neighbors are elderly and don’t have transportation themselves. Many have relied on me in the past. The car we have at the moment is broken down for the 11th time this year alone. It breaks down constantly with one thing or another. In addition to it’s mechanical problems, the air conditioner doesn’t work and the windows don’t roll down. So even if it ran, it’s dangerous to drive or to transport Dezi and Raena in, especially in the humidly hot spring and summers of Oklahoma. After praying about the situation, I’ve decided to try to raise the money to buy a good car from one of the car rental companies who sell retired cars (2019 models) below blue book.

 

We desperately need a vehicle so we can get to regular doctors and vet appointments as well as other necessities. More importantly, we need reliable transportation in the event of an emergency. Living with poor health means you’re always on the verge on an emergency. The population of our town is less than 3,000 people, so we have to drive to get to most everything, and finding a ride isn’t easy; and often doesn’t happen.

Asking for help is very hard for me, but I feel I have no choice. And, if something were to happen to Dezi or Raena and I couldn’t get them help because we had no way to get to the vet…I just couldn’t live with myself. Dezi is getting on in years and needs to see the vet more frequently. At the moment, we can't get there, it's 35 miles away.

 

I live on a fixed income and can’t work, so there’s no way I can make or come up with the money myself. I have tried everything I know to do and this is my last hope. Please help Dezi, Raena and me to get good reliable transportation. We truly appreciate any and all donations. Thank you.
