It is with deep sorrow and regret that we share the tragic and sudden passing of Denis Boulter, a second generation Journeyman Lineman from San Diego Gas & Electric on Friday October 2nd, 2020.
Brother Denis suffered a medical emergency while on a jet ski at the river and has passed away. We are all devastated by this loss and our hearts are with his family during this difficult time. Denis was a family man, with a loving wife and 12 year old daughter Rylee who were his entire life. He gave back to his trade as a line-school instructor and mentor to so many. He loved life, over the line, body building and spending time with his IBEW brothers. Heaven gained an angel and we lost one of the best men you could ever know.
As an IBEW 465 and SDG&E Family we are launching this fundraiser to help his family and his wife Brandy Steed Boulter with emergency expenses as they face this terrible tragedy. Please keep Denis and his family in your prayers. We will share any updates we get including any services as we respect the family’s privacy. (GOFUND ME Update: My name is Nate Fairman and I am the Business Manager of IBEW Local Union 465, the union that represents all the workers at SDG&E including our fallen brother Denis Boulter. As a union advocate, I do my best to help our members in need and their families. When I heard this tragic news I immediately reached out to Brandy Steed Boulter, Denis Boulter's wife and asked for her permission to start this go fund me to help her family. I have also been in contact with Denis' dad, Steve Boulter who was also a Lineman at SDG&E and a member of our local union (IBEW 465). I will be adding Brady Steed Boulter as the beneficiary today and will work with Steve and Brandy to make sure all the funds are transferred to her as soon as possible.
