Help Rashid Make Phone Calls
Kevin "Rashid" Johnson, Minister of Defense of the New Afrikan Black Panther Party (NABPP), is stuck in solitary confinement for the next year. Although he is still able to make phone calls from inside prison, these calls are expensive. We want to raise funds so that Rashid is able to make phone calls to other comrades and stay connected to the organizing work of the Panthers!
Each phone call is limited to 20 minutes per session, and for each 20 minute period it costs over $6. To calculate that up to an hour, each hour of a phone call costs approximately $19.
If we can raise $1000, we believe this amount would allow Rashid to speak to comrades for several weeks. As the United Panther Movement develops, we need Rashid's voice to the heard!
The Brown Panther Organization is taking led on raising funds to connect Rashid to other comrades. We have set time aside out of our schedule to begin this effort but we can not do it alone and need the people's support. Please consider making a donation of any amount as every little bit helps!
