*WE NEED YOUR HELP TO SUPPORT NEW MUMS!*
I am very excited to announce my new project providing care packages for (struggling) new mum’s experiencing mental health issues and attending @bluebellcare.
Bluebell care is a growing charity that offers support to pregnant and new mums who are experiencing depression and anxiety. Mums can access 1:1 support from a peer support buddy, group support programs and the opportunity to come along to targeted drop-in sessions at their central Bristol Hub.
My aim is to provide Bluebell with at least 12 care packages per month to gift to new mums who may be struggling with antenatal and Post-natal depression and anxiety. The packages will be designed to bring comfort and support during a difficult time and a way of let the recipient know they are not alone.
Each one will contain:
· A pack of One Tuff Muvva mini positivity cards
· A face mask
· A ‘I believe in you’ postcard
· A sweet treat
· Some relaxing tea
· A handwritten note from myself or you!
Each care package will cost £5 for me to produce so each month I aim to raise £60 to cover these costs.
With this in mind, I have decided to launch a new range of products and donate 10% of each sale to the project as well as running special offers throughout the month. These will be available to purchase on my website from October 1st.
You can also support a new mum by simply purchasing a care package on my website for £5 and writing a little note of encouragement which will be popped in the box for them to read. I know I would have definitely appreciated this sentiment when going through Postnatal depression myself and hearing from another mum can mean the world.
