Orange to Bathurst ultramarathon for mental health

Mental health is the crisis of our generation. 45% of Aussies will experience a mental illness at some point in their life and eight Australians die every day by suicide. We're getting better at talking about our mental health challenges, but by any measure we're not doing enough.

This is a cause that we are both passionate about, having had a mixture of personal experience with anxiety and depression and watching friends, family and colleagues endure their own mental health challenges.

As we’ve learned, mental health is an (ultra)marathon, not a sprint.

With that in mind, Dean and Derek will be running 60km (with 1km of elevation gain) from Orange to Bathurst (see the course here ) early in the morning on Saturday November 7th* to raise money for Beyond Blue.

So instead of buying that second coffee out today, we ask that you flick a few dollars toward this cause. Any contribution helps and is much appreciated.
