Help Amy Armstrong Kick Cancer's Butt Again

Donation protected
Cancer sucks. There's no way around it. Few of us can say this horrible disease hasn't touched us.

If you're reading this, chances are you know about Amy and her courageous battle against ovarian cancer. She was diagnosed in 2019 and underwent treatment, which included surgery and chemotherapy. With deep gratitude to so many of you, she fought that battle. Through the efforts of an incredible medical team in Puerto Vallarta, and your financial support and prayers, she fought that battle – and won. But a battle is not a war. And this war is on.

This first week of October 2020, Amy learned the cancer has returned. Like so many women who battle this disease, she's worked aggressively with her talented and knowledgeable doctors to create a treatment plan to knock-out this disease. Thankfully, they're confident they've caught this early, and this can be treated successfully.

Amy is ready to kick cancer's ass again, but we need your help to make this happen.

One of the most overwhelming barriers to effective treatment is access to the financial resources to fund your battle. As we are all facing a prolonged worldwide pandemic, many folks are struggling to make ends meet. Chances are you may be personally affected or have a family member or close friend who has suffered a layoff, a lost job, or significantly reduced income due to the pandemic. Few haven't been touched, economically and emotionally.

It's been an incredibly difficult time for musicians and performance artists worldwide, who have boundless talents to share, but limited audiences and opportunities to share them. So many of them are struggling just to make ends meet. Like you, each day can be a new challenge in their lives.

Imagine receiving a cancer diagnosis in the midst of this, without insurance to help shoulder the burden.

When Amy received an all-clear from her medical team earlier this year, after surgery and multiple chemo treatments, she went to work. She teamed up with local musicians, creating a venue to share their talents with so many of us isolated in lockdowns. Amy live-streamed benefit concerts, and contributed to local charities and food banks, to support a community that welcomed and supported her. She shared with many the generosity you so lovingly shared with her when she needed you.

It's not easy making a call for help during these trying times. But the battle has been brought to her again. The road ahead will be emotionally, physically, and financially challenging. Let's position Amy to crush this disease again. As Amy's closest family and friends--her warriors--we're appealing to you – please help us by:

· Contributing to this campaign, if you are able. Every dollar contribution helps. We cannot complete this treatment regimen without your support. (You may also contribute via PayPal "AmyArmstrong71" or Venmo "Amy_Armstrong_80")

· Sharing our campaign through your social media contacts. Your network of friends can help us move this effort forward.

· Saying a prayer, lighting a candle, sending healing energy, or reaching out with a note of support.

· Learning more about this terrible disease, and sharing Amy's story with the important women in your life. Early diagnosis and treatment improve treatment outcomes significantly.

And as Amy would be first to say, your support is humbling. There is no way to repay the gift of life you are sharing through your support. With hearts full of awe and gratitude, we thank you for your generosity.
