Haiti , Guyana & Liberia Christmas In the Village

It all started in 2011, at orientation for a new job in Washington, DC. I met my sister from another mother. A few months later, I was taking my 10 years old daughter to visit Liberia where I am originally from. To avoid the culture shock, I decided to take her to Haiti to visit my sister and do some mission work in November and travel to Liberia in December. We did. Unfortunately, when we left, one of the schools we visited collapsed on the kids while they were in class. For my daughter's birthday that year she wanted to rebuild a school in Haiti as her birthday gift instead of a party the rest is now history. It has now become our family tradition to go to Haiti at Christmas to host a party in the village for kids, give them gifts, school supplies, pay medical bills and help out in other ways. I have a legally registered 501c3 Non Profit Dorcas Works and represented by the William Mitchell School of Law in St. Paul. All Donations are TAX DEDUCTIBLE. This year we are gearing up for another visit to Haiti. However, this year we will be sending boxes of food and clothes and money to pay medical bills in Liberia my country of birth and Guyana ( helping out with a friend's project). You are always welcome to travel to Haiti with us. Due to luggage restrictions and planning, we plan on shipping 15 boxes/barrels of food and clothes Five to each country.
