Help Chloe, aka "Chloe Bear", kick cancer's butt!

Donation protected
Chloe Michelle Sullivan, aka "Chloe Bear" is a sweet and happy little 1 year old girl. She loves dancing, playing with her brother and sister and watching Moana. She is always smiling and laughing and is just the best baby anybody could ever ask for. Very happy and rarely fussy, has never thrown a tantrum but will definitely get upset and let you know when she wants something she isn't getting.

During the end of September/beginning of October she started coming down with fevers, swollen lymph nodes, dry congestion and puffy eyes after her 1 year check-up. Michelle & Chris had assumed it was a mixture of environmental reactions and allergies, given our current environment and, with advice from her doctor, started her on some allergy medication along with Tylenol. They were in constant contact with the doctor from the beginning and let him know of every new symptom. She became more lethargic, stopped eating and drinking, and was just in pain all over her body. When they took her back in for the 3rd time the doctor was not happy with her downward spiral and sent them to the ER with some suspicions about what could be going on.

Michelle and Chris learned that Chloe Bear  was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia and rushed to Stanford Children’s Hospital. She is now getting continuous dialysis because her leukemia and dehydration caused her to also go into renal failure and is on a breathing tube and sedation to keep her comfortable and pain free. She is having chemotherapy treatment every 22 days, 5 days at a time, and will need to have lumbar puncture treatments as well since they found white blood cells in her spinal fluid.

She has shown great improvements since starting her treatments! Her kidneys are beginning to function again, and her white blood cell counts are now below 1k, where they were originally over 250k. Normal ranges are between 6k and 17k when they are healthy white blood cells. So she is responding beautifully to her chemo treatments and all of her oncologists and doctors are super impressed with her progress.

Chris and Michelle are both by Chloe’s side 24/7.  Neither of them are working right now.  The bills still need to be paid, not to mention the medical expenses and another baby coming in 2 months!

Many have asked how you can help The Sullivan Family  so this GoFundMe has been started.  Going through any crisis is difficult but when it involves a child, it becomes unthinkable.  They have always been there for us and now it is time for us to be there for them.  Please help Chloe Bear and her family out in this difficult time.
