Grammie's Memorial

Donation protected
On Friday October 9th, 2020 Robin Moriarty passed away unexpectedly.  She is pictured below with her children and grandchildren, she is the only one in the picture with all gray hair, which she loved styling and adding bright colors to. Her brightness and love is already so very missed.

Thank you for helping cover the costs of her funeral, cremation, and burial.

See below to read more about our story.

Her passing was sudden, quick and we think painless for her, very painful for us, and very unexpected. She was snoring one minute and then unconscious, non breathing, and unresponsive the next.

We know that she is loved by so many of her friends and family. She gave her whole heart to us all.

Now we are faced with the financial burden helping her pass on with dignity and giving us the time to heal. To do this we want to have a private viewing so that her grandbabies and her children can say goodbye. We want to do a digital online service so that all of you can have that chance to share your stories with us and to say goodbye yourselves in a safe environment.

She truly deserves to be recognized, honored, and celebrated. Her wishes were then to be cremated. We plan to have some of her ashes to be buried at a local cemetery so that we have a place to visit her and ask her for advice. Some of her ashes we would like to turn into something for each of us to be able to have her spirit with us for the rest of our lives. The remaining ashes we want to scatter to the winds at Mount Rainer as she wished. It was always "her" mountain as she called it. It always made her happy and brought radiant joy to see it.

Robin, my Mom, and my brother Ian lived together to share expenses and care for one another. Since my Mom didn't have income other than social security with no life insurance or savings, my brother Ian barely has enough money to cover his necessary monthly expenses and myself, her daughter, doesn't have any extra money since I am going to school full time to become a teacher (I was laid off from aerospace engineering in 2018).

Many of you have asked how you can help. We didn't realize how much this process would cost until she passed when we began trying to find a funeral home to come pick up her body from the house. If you would like to help us with the costs of her viewing, online memorial service, cremation, burial, and/or spreading of the ashes, our family would greatly appreciate it and here is a way.  We estimated that this is about what it would cost if there is any extra funds after the expenses, the extra money will be donated somewhere in her honor including a portion to her church for the service.

If you would rather give via a check, cash, or help in any other way then please reach out to me directly via Facebook Messenger, phone, mail, or email. Paypal is also an option or we can accept donations through Venmo. I think you would need to reach out directly to us to do so since that cannot be linked directly or provided here.

We didn't want to ask but I know that you want to help and this is a way you can help us.

We hope to be able to do this for her and to give peace to all of us as we work through healing ourselves after the loss of this amazing women, Robin Andrine Speulda Moriarty. We know that traveling right now isn't possible and isn't realistic for all of our safety. Any support you are able to give is appreciated.

Thank you for your love and support. From the bottom of our broken hearts, we thank you for anything you can or have to offer.

Much love always,
Ian, Shannon, Mark, Zync and Xander
