A Brighter Christmas on the Island of Yap

As the years pass, I notice how there are fewer and fewer Christmas lights displayed during the Holiday. So for about three Years now, I have had the idea of having a big Christmas Light Display at the Yap Living History Museum. The Christmas Light Display will be open to the public, where families can come over and enjoy the sight of the lights and take pictures. I have asked the help of Yap Visitors Bureau and they are willing to help and have also donated some funds. My company will also donate some funds for the lights. Being on Yap, the shipping for the lights will cost a lot, (sometimes more than the light itself). I have spoken to the people of my Village to help set up the lights once they have arrived. Even if the funds from this GoFund Me Campaign come in late, we can still use it to order the lights and save it for next year’s Christmas. All the lights purchased with the donations on hand, will be stored away after Christmas and be used next year. Hopefully the Christmas Light Display at the Yap Living History Museum will be a Christmas Tradition. I know for sure that the Children on Yap will be excited to see the lights at Christmas and will give them joy.
