Go Baby Go: Helping Kids Be Independent

Tax deductible
Go Baby Go at WCS Want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money to benefit Go Baby Go at Edgewood Middle School which is part of the Warsaw Community Schools district.  Any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.

Middle school students are mentored by engineering professionals from our own community in modifying a 12 volt electric car for toddlers who move differently.  We want these toddlers to be independent.  Modifying a car that they can drive will enable these toddlers to achieve that goal.  For example, a toddler only had one leg and arm.  The students and engineers modified a larger gas pedal.  They also modified the steering so that it could easily be steered with one hand.

We plan to modify 4 cars 2021 Spring.  It costs about $500 for the car and modification.  This activity not only affects the toddler's independence, but also the middle school students who are working with their engineering mentors.  This is a hands-on, minds-on project.
