2 years ago, almost to the day, my oldest son, Solomon wanted a cat for his birthday. He went to the adoption place with his mother. They ended up bringing home 2 cats, one of whom is Storm.
This past week, we noticed that she was vomiting and not acting her normal perky self. On Monday, we took her into the vet. After a myriad of tests and x-rays, we were told she has a blockage in her intestine and will require surgery.
Surgery is expected to cost over $3,000 which we do not have that kind of cash on hand at the moment.
Storm is only 2.5 years old and she is Solomon's cat, spending most of her time with him. She gives Solomon comfort and also teaches him the responsibility of owning a pet. Storm is a part of our family!
